Out of the 130 varieties of durum wheat in existence in the region of Puglia, we have used all of our experience and professionalism to select those best suited to the production of high quality pasta for our Dedicato range.

Raw material and pasta of the highest quality, certified and traceable from the field to the table: 100% Puglia, thanks to supply agreements in place between Granoro, the farmers and the mill that transforms our durum wheat into semolina.

OUR ORGANIC PASTA RANGES

DURUM WHEAT AND BARLEY GROWN EXCLUSIVELY IN ITALY

The organic, whole wheat and classic durum wheats we use, as well as the barley we use to make our Cuore Mio pasta, are grown in Puglia, Sicily and Basilicata, in accordance with methods of organic agriculture, without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers and with the utmost respect for the environment.

All of Granoro’s organic products are approved and certified by ICEA (Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute).

THE ORIGIN OF OUR DURUM WHEAT

We produce our classic pasta shapes using Durum Wheat grown in Italy, mixed with carefully selected, high quality wheat grown in other countries such as the USA, France and Australia, because Italy alone does not produce enough wheat to meet the needs of the pasta industry.
